CIRCUS KAPUT was officially formed in the early 2000’s by Josh and Ginger Routh, two St. Louisans who had returned home inspired, after working with the Pickle Circus in San Francisco and taking part in the cutting edge variety arts movement dubbed, “New Circus”.
In 2003, at the Pickle contract’s end they decided to bring the New Circus style home to Missouri. So they created, along with Josh’s comedic partner Sebastian, Circus Kaput.
We bring the circus to you! Circus Kaput may itself be little more than a decade old, but for over 20 years, our performers have been providing quality entertainment throughout Missouri, Illinois and beyond.
We provide unique and amazing performers for all kinds of special occasions, such as fairs, festivals, college shows, corporate events, company/church picnics, birthdays, weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs and much more. With a personal touch, we work hard to make sure that your event is a huge success.
We offer the widest variety of novelty acts, shows and strolling performers for any occasion. Our performers have entertained all over the world in venues as diverse as theatrical productions, films, circuses, backyards, college quads, concerts, even the streets of Europe and Asia.
We are based in St. Louis and book our entertainers mostly in Missouri and Illinois, but we do book our performers for many dates around the U.S.A. and abroad.
